Welcome to the Big 33 Family! Being selected to participate in the 54th Big 33 Football Classic should be a source of immense pride for you. This is an elite group of Pennsylvania High School Football Players who will be your teammates in what is also known as the “High School Super Bowl”. You were chosen because the Big 33 Selection Committee is confident you will make a major contribution to the Pennsylvania’s team success in June. Additionally, you are to be congratulated for being a positive role model representing your high school football team with your conduct both on and off the playing field.
We are asking you to download and complete the forms below: 2011 Big 33 Health Questionnaire & 2011 Big 33 Insurance and Wavier. These forms cannot be completed online. They must be printed for you to complete and sign. You will not be able to participate in any activities with the Big 33 until your forms are completed, signed by a parent/guardian and received by a member of the Big 33 staff. Please bring both completed and signed forms with you to the press conference.
Please bring (2) photos with you to the press conference. Photos must be clear regular class picture style photographs. Pictures from the newspapers, programs and camera phones cannot be used. Please remember to put your name on the back of your photos. They will not be returned unless requested. The photos will be used for the following:
- Your player profile which will appear in the Souvenir Program.
- Your host family.
There will be a Press Conference to announce the Pennsylvania Team and Cheerleaders. All players are asked to attend with a parent, guardian or coach. The Press Conference will take place January 24th at the Sheraton in Harrisburg, PA. You should arrive in a shirt, tie, dress pants and dress shoes. You may be interviewed by the media with cameras and a team photo will also be taken. Here is the timeline:
12:00 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. Registration and players will be fitted for their game jersey and helmet.
1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Program begins and the Pennsylvania team will be introduced, explanation of game week, guest speakers, meeting with your coaches and answering any player and parent questions.
Please put your completed forms and photos in a manila envelope with your name on it.
