2008 Notebook Forms
Wanted: Top 34 players from Pennsylvania to play the best 34 players from Ohio . Below is a list of the Top 40 Players as Ranked by rivals.com The Pennsylvania Big 33 Team Selection Process is just around the corner. Here is how the selection process works: #1 All Pennsylvania Head Coaches receive nomination forms to nominate both players and coaches. #2 Nominations are due in November with two films per player. A regular game film showing the player at the position(s) that he is nominated for as well as a highlight film. #3 Critical -Players are selected based on their senior game footage, not on their stats. #4 Who Selects the team? The Board of Directors of the PSFCA. The nomination forms and game film are collected and organized in November and early December. In December, at the PSFCA Winter Workshop, the Big 33 and East-West coaches are selected. The player selection meeting takes place in January at Penn State and the players are contacted by the coach. A Press Conference will be held on February 18th to announce the PA team (at the Holiday Inn East). 2008 marks the 51st Anniversary of the Big 33 Classic.
