NICK MARSILIO NAMED WEEK 13 IMPACT PLAYER
HARRISBURG, PA –Big 33 and GameTimePA are announcing Bishop McDevitt’s Nick Marsilio as this week’s Impact Player.
Marsilio and the Crusaders took on Conrad Weiser in another round of playoff action this past Friday. Marsilio, Bishop McDevitt’s junior quarterback, was a driving force behind McDevitt’s victory. In the first quarter Marsilio passed to Andre Robinson for McDevitt’s first touchdown and then ran 16 yards for McDevitts’ second touchdown. In the second and third quarters Marsilio passed for another two touchdowns, which put McDevitt up 42-7 at the end of the third. In the fourth quarter McDevitt would go on to score another touchdown and win the game 49-21. Bishop McDevitt will take on Manheim Central on Friday at Hersheypark Stadium in the PIAA District 3 championship game. Kick-off is 7 p.m.
Prior to last week’s game, Marsilio had thrown for almost 2,000 yards this season with 22 passing touchdowns.
