A letter from the 2010 Honorary Chairman.

For 53 years the Big 33 Football Classic, the premier high school All-Star football game in the United States, has showcased some of the nation’s top high school athletes and this year will be no different!  History has evidenced that these players are our future football stars and the exposure they are receiving is well earned and deserved.

I applaud and thank the alumni for making it a priority to keep the traditions of the Big 33 alive and for giving back to the celebrated “Buddy Program” that gave so much to all of us.

I would like to take this opportunity to honor the 2010 class of athletes and welcome them into the exclusive group of Big 33 Alumni.  Their legacies will be forever memorialized with the likes of Joe Namath, Archie Griffin, Tony Dorsett, Joe Montana, LaVar Arrington, Dan Marino, Ben Roethlisberger, Ty Law, Jim Kelly and Curtis Martin to name just a few.  Class of 2010, your potential for greatness is limitless, go after every opportunity as if it is your last.

For me, being able to showcase my skills in the Big 33 cemented the foundation of my football career and propelled me to strive for greatness. Without our visionary sponsors’ participation and support, we would not have the Big 33.  Special thanks to PCN (Pennsylvania Cable Network) for delivering the game into the homes of almost 5 million viewers!
